Spanish Honor Society

Spanish Honor Society is actively involved in the community. Students volunteer at the Manassas Health and Rehab Center by organizing games (Spanish Bingo) and arts & craft activities to engage the residents. Students also volunteer at Hogar Immigrant Services with adult ESL classes for English conversation skills. We have also organized a major cultural event for the Hispanic community and have given presentations to ESL students at Unity Reed to increase their awareness of the activities/clubs/sports they can become involved in.

Hear from students in Spanish Honor Society!
“Spanish Honor Society seeks to serve the local community through the use of the Spanish language. For example, SHS goes to retirement homes and migration centers to speak with people.” -Ben Kim
